Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Available in person and online
I am a board-certified Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist with over twenty years of experience practicing in Queens and Brooklyn. I completed my Psychiatry residency at Jamaica Hospital, followed by my Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Brookdale Hospital, and currently work at Brunswick Hospital Center. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively in both outpatient and inpatient settings, caring for individuals across the lifespan.
I have treated a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, trauma-related conditions, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, and behavioral challenges in children and adolescents. My clinical experience spans diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and family backgrounds, allowing me to provide thoughtful, individualized care that respects each patient’s unique story.
My approach to psychiatry is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I believe in treating the whole person—not just symptoms—by integrating biological, psychological, social, and developmental factors into care. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and working closely with patients and families to create treatment plans that are practical, respectful, and empowering.
My mission is to improve mental health access and outcomes within the community while reducing stigma surrounding psychiatric care. In addition to clinical work, I am deeply committed to community service through psychiatric consultation, education, and fundraising initiatives that support mental health awareness and resources for underserved populations.
What I enjoy most about my work is witnessing growth, resilience, and meaningful change in my patients’ lives. Helping individuals and families navigate challenges and achieve emotional well-being continues to be both a privilege and a motivation. My goals are to continue providing high-quality, ethical psychiatric care, expand community outreach efforts, mentor future clinicians, and advocate for mental health as an essential component of overall health.
